Seal Food Chain
Harp seal is a warm-blooded, carnivorous mammal found in extremely cold regions of the world, especially popular for hunting in Canada. The oil extracted from seal tissues is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids – the ‘good’ fats. These fats are also given the name of omega 3 and the supplements made from seal oil are known as omega 3 seal oil supplements.
